My Un-Simple Life: Who am I and what is this?
My name is Mary. I am a mother of two young boys. My husband and I will have been married for 15 years this summer. That feels like a long time, and yet it hasn't felt that way. I also love to travel, read, and learn about other people and places. Actually I love to learn, period. I have recently discovered that I really love learning and talking about education - where it has been, where it is going, new trends, etc. I love good food and great friends. I am a lover of people, culture and art. But in reality my life is not that complicated. It's not exactly simple though, either. I also love to learn about myself. And boy, have I.
I have done a lot of reading over the past few years in an attempt to understand myself better. I also just love to read anything inspirational - things that get me thinking about life and people. I also collect quotes. I guess I love words. And the entire reason I created this page is that I am wordy. Perhaps verbose. But I recently (and by recently I mean today) started running. One of the things I have read is that you should keep a journal. I am far too social to keep that all to myself so I thought I'd start this site. Just a place to gather my thoughts and put it all out there for the universe.
So basically what you will find here are my thoughts mainly about running, but tangentially also about what I learn/think/realize along my journey to get fit and become a runner. I welcome all comments and questions, and most especially tips and ideas others have to share.
